About Me

  • My journey as a mother has been rough. I always loved and nurtured my children, but at one point I failed to love and nurture myself. The end result was emotionally catastrophic. Fortunately, miracles are born out of catastrophe, and my miracle came later in the form of my youngest daughter. I have given her a lifetime of love and laughter. She is amazing, and deserves a better upbringing than what I endured.

  • I have been dancing since I was in diapers. (I cannot attest to the level of proficiency, but it was probably cute at least.) My dad used to let me play records all day, and I danced for hours. I have had some formal tap, jazz and ballet training, but I prefer dancing freestyle. I used to do choreography, but I find the rigidity stifling after awhile. I love to watch group choreography though. I believe physical movement helps transmute negative emotional, physical and spiritual energy back into positive, vibrant energy. So, grab your glow sticks and dance it up with me! Joy, movement and connection = health and happiness.

  • I am a student with a degree in English Studies. I am obtaining my teaching credential this fall, then I’m off to teach as far and wide as I can.

I write poetry, short stories, editorials and blogs.

I hope to publish a book about my life someday. It’s been a weird one.

  • Watch this space.

    I make art and clothing.

It is going to take me a minute to list everything.

    Thanks for your patience!

  • I am (likely) the silliest woman you will ever meet.

    Here’s proof!

  • Though I am pursuing a traditional teaching credential. I believe I teach best by living a joyful life.

I want to help people learn to manifest joy, and live healthier lives. Manifestation is a latent skill everyone possesses. It just takes guidance.

I will have video “Lessons” and articles posted soon.

  • “Wife.”

That designation is funny to me. I have been married previously and, while emotionally upsetting, I learned a lot. I also gained and lost EVERYTHING through marriage.

I did not actually fall in love until age 46, and I met my husband when I returned to school. My husband is a drummer and music professor. He is my best friend because we balance each other out. He is reticent where I am exuberant, muted where I am colorful and cautious when I am rash.

Prior to meeting my husband, I was married to a rock star and I have also been involved with a drummer, and two computer geeks. Also, prior to meeting my husband, I had no idea what it was to be a “wife” because I did not have a traditional upbringing. I did the best I could, but I was young, immature and trying to mask my physical and emotional pain every day. In short, I was not good to those people, because I was not good to myself. Thankfully, I finally figured out how to care for myself, which led me to a great life and a happy marriage!
